Since its inception, ou...Read more May 16, 2025 Italian porcelain carousel music box and cigarette dispenser, Simo, Florence, 20th c., with Swiss Reuge musical movement playing selection from "Tales From the Vienna Woods" by Johann Strauss II, onion-domed top surmounted by seated cherub finial, over six rotating panels opening to reveal slotted cigarette storage, with various instrument motifs, rising on circular platform and grotesque mask feet, maker's mark underfoot, observed operating, approx 13"h, 7"diam, 4.25lbs 4.28.25-In my opinion regarding LOT: 2482, as described, the music box was observed operating, the music plays and the doors open smoothly, however, upon closing, several doors do not fully close, leaving a small gap, this may require a simple adjustment although I am unsure, a video has been taken for review, please provide your email address if you wish to receive it, the green floral-painted surfaces are intact with only light wear, no major losses observed, metal elements throughout the interior and exterior are present with some rubbing, patination, and light wear, the red liner on the interior storage pockets is intact with light wear, all mentioned minor, please see attached images for your review Detailed condition reports are not included in this catalog
