Evening Stroll Substrate:Paper This is a difficult placeIn Alaska, while Grizzlies and Brown Bears are technically the same species, bears that live inland are referred to as Grizzlies, while their coastal counterparts are Brown Bears. Surprisingly, Grizzly bears are often the smaller of the two because they don't have those excellent marine based food sources. So here, we have a beautiful Brown Bear from Katmai National Park. That's also a Grizzly Bear. Clear as mud? Perfect!
